booked for a session shoot at the beautiful Angel Hotel in Abergavenny is always a pleasure. At this bridal shoot I met the lovely Holly who was our bride for the day and photographer Keith Davies from Cardiff.
We set up early morning in the bridal suite and it almost felt like a real wedding! During this shoot I was really pressed for time as I had to get back to the salon for an early morning client. Thankfully I love working under pressure – and also – it did help the shoot feel authentic. It always helps when you’re on a job which is immaculately organised and when you’ve got a professional team around you.
It’s also a bonus to get bacon sandwiches and tea! So for the bridal look our brief was ‘sleek and sophisticated.’ As our model Holly had long thick hair I opted for a smooth beehive and plenty of delicate weaves through the back – like a sleek bridal bun. Holly wore several beautiful gowns and head pieces from Abergavenny bridal shop Victoria Valentine.
The band set off the beehive perfectly. At this shoot I had to leave before seeing the final images so after placing the veil in place it was time to shoot back to Gilwern for my first client of the day.
